Thanks Great Grandpa and Grandma

Great Grandma and Grandpa came at the end of March to visit us. It was good to see them again. Brynn has not seen them since we visited them last summer. Brynn had some fun times while they were here. This is on of at least two postings I will be adding from when they were here.

Here she is the day they arrived, playing with her bubble maker.

Grandma and Grandpa brought a wagon with them for Brynn. Here are the three men trying to put the wagon together.

Brynn does not look so sure that they are able to put her wagon together. Brynn in the wagon with her "bottle".

Brynn also got a new grill from Grandpa and Grandma.. or so she thought. Look at how excited she was to see the grill in our living room.
B thought she should do what she always does with boxes, climb on top of them.
After Dad got our grill together, Brynn thought it was so nice we had gotten her something to climb on/through.

Thanks Aunt Sher

Aunt Sherry sent Brynn some Hello Kitty Easter eggs in her basket. Brynn had me open them yesterday, but it was this afternoon that Brynn discovered she could open them, but not get them closed. For about 30-45 minutes today Brynn would open the eggs then come over to me to close them... She thought it was great!

Up Maisy

Monday, April 13, 2009

Puppy has a name...

Welcome Maisy!!! It took us 3 days to name her, but she is officially Maisy. She is a soft coated Wheaten Terrier.Ella and her new pal!!! Ella did not approve of her until Sunday night. They are now constantly playing. Maisy will keep playing even though she is exhausted.. perhaps it is the Irish blood in her.
So tired, so fell asleep with her head in the bucket..

We told Brynn the puppy was sleeping so she did what she does when her babies are sleeping, cover her up with whatever clothes/blankets she can find.

Brynn loves her new puppy. I think she loves that she can actually pick her up.

Easter Weekend

We headed down to my Mom's and Dad's to celebrate Easter Friday and Saturday since I had to work Saturday and Sunday night. Friday night cousin Jonah and Brynn got to dye eggs for the first time.

The moms and the kids
"This is fun!"
Jonah was really into dyeing the eggs and did a good job all on his own
Notice my face as Brynn is holding the egg over the dye. I was worried about her dropping the egg and cracking it. She didn't.
Our first dyed egg.

Brynn's first official colored and dyed egg. She did the coloring mostly by herself.

THE NEXT MORNING...
The Easter Bunny definitely brought the kids some fun things...
Brynn eyeing up her new things.

Brynn moving so fast after getting her "baby" out of the box.
Jonah and Brynn looking/sharing their toys.
Brynn eating in the highchair with her new baby.
Right before we started the egg hunt..
Brynn running to her first egg.. I pointed this one out to her, but she learned and found eggs all on her own.
Brynn's first egg she found on her own.. I know you can't see it, but it is right in front of her
Putting the egg in the basket.

At the end of the hunt Brynn accidentally broke open the last egg she had found. She had no idea there was candy in them. I was trying to pick up some of the candy before she shoved it all in her mouth, but she managed to still get a mouthful of M&Ms and ran away from me to the porch. These pics are after I caught her in porch. Here she is holding her mouth tight.. Notice the colored drool on her chin from the M&Ms.
After the M&Ms were "All Gone"

Easter Bunny

Brynn got to see a real bunny today!!! Sophie is Kristy's, a friend's, bunny. We were at her parents house for Easter. Brynn originally was a little hesitant of the bunny... but as you can see she warmed up to her. I will be adding pictures of the Easter Egg hunt at my mom's later tonight or tomorrow... once I get them loaded on the computer.

To the Circus We go

Grandpa Bob got us all tickets to the Shrine Circus... We weren't sure what Brynn would think. Turns out she loved it!!!

This is what we did most of the time, clap for everything and smile!!! It was so fun to see how excited she got over everything.

Standing by the elephants giving rides..

Not so much a fan of the clowns...

However, she was a little curious about this one

By the tiger cage... We were showing her where the tigers were going to be. She loved them and showed them her ferocious Rrroar..
