Brynn 15 months..

Well, Brynn just turned 15 months and we went to her appointment today. She grew an inch and a half from last time and is 31 inches now. Her weight is still in the 80th percentiles at 25 lbs and 5 ounces. She has been a busy talker this past month. Her vocabulary is growing daily. If we say one thing she will repeat it and continue to use it. For instance yesterday Matt said "good girl" to Ella (our dog). Brynn repeated it right away "good girl". She continued to say it today with no prompting. I guess we had an early walker and it seems we will have an early talker. She says.. Mommy, Dad, Ella, hi, bye, buh bye, night night (nigh nigh), puppy, ball, good girl, no, uh oh, where'd it go? (where go?), Go go, boots, shoes, baby, bottle, water, nuk, blanket, duck, kitty, tv, ow, nose, eyes, up, down, cheese, all done, more, book, hot dog (dot dog). That's all we can think... She can say Mickey (her favorite tv character) -remember the hot dog dance. She also says words for Grandma and Grandpa but I can't figure out how to say them and they sometimes vary a tad when she says them.
She also knows many animal sounds.. cow, sheep, bear, tiger and lion, kitty, puppy, and horse. It used to take us a couple days for her to pick up animal noises, but bear her most recent one took two tries.
Other than words she is very interested in whatever mommy and daddy are doing and likes to try to help us out, or copy what we're doing. She loves to read and will bring us books and crawl into our lap, especially at bedtime. It is so much fun and crazy to realize how fast she is learning!

March Snow...

Well we got snow last night and today. I thought we had almost made it through the day with Brynn not asking to "Go! Go!" When she saw my shoes and started her chanting of Go GO! At least the temperature was warm outside.

March showers bring April Snowmen??? I know it is the end of the winter season for us, but here is Brynn's first snowman!!! She wasn't sure what to think of it, but we managed to get some pictures...

New puppy

We found a puppy today!!! We picked out a soft-coated wheaten terrier. Unfortunately we had to leave the puppy at her home. We get to pick her up on the 10th!!! More pictures will follow. The puppy won't stay the coloring it is either. It will become almost white in color. It will most likely retain it's black beard however.

New Boots

Here are some pictures of Brynn playing outside after we bought her new rainboots!!! She has been obsessed with her boots lately and we figured we should get her something for warmer weather. Plus we wanted to give her some boots she could splash in puddles with...And we found the mud!!! I had to keep pulling her up because she wanted to sit in the mud..

No idea what we are pointing at, but it was important to her..

Happy St. Patrick's Day - Then and Now

I know if you're looking at this Monday night I posted it early, but I am not going to be home tomorrow to post this... so here goes. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Thought you might enjoy seeing Brynn a year ago today and what she is like today...

Daily walks

Brynn has lately become insistant on taking daily walks. She comes up to me with either a shoe or her boots and tells me to put them on her. She then walks to the door and starts banging on it or pulling on the dog leash until I get over there. Already have Ella on the leash.. Let's go Mom what are we waiting for?
We mostly walk back the alley behind our house. I figure there is very little traffic so she can just wander.

Uh Oh!!!

Brynn has a black eye!!! She ran into a chair yesterday afternoon. This first pic is from this morning. You can see the puffiness in her right eye.

This second pic is this afternoon. The color is starting to appear more I believe. It is all purple underneath her eye. I do not think this picture does it justice, but it was the best I could get. No worries though, the black eye is not bugging her. She's still running around, hauling stuff around our house.

Daddy's Darling

This last week I was able to put Brynn in this shirt we've had for over a year. I tried to get a good picture that we could forward to Matt at school, however Brynn rarely holds still for the camera anymore. This first picture is one of the ones I came close to in catching a smile and Brynn in one spot. In reality I believe it is her screaming at me to let her be...Too busy to look up Mom..

I tried putting her in a chair to see if that helped, she still refused to look up when I had the camera in my hand.
