New Shoes

We bought Brynn some new crocs today. We bought her a pair previously on a clearance rack (a way better deal) that we thought would last all summer, but alas we had to get new ones. Well, Daddy found us tome cute gibblets (?) or plastic things to add to our crocs. We have an Ariel from The Little Mermaid (B's fav movie), a duck, and a flower on her other one. I think this plus the fact she has been able to put on her own shoes all day - was the selling point to her not wanting to take them off at bedtime.
I asked her twice if she wanted me to take her shoes off and she answered me with a polite "no." I figured it wasn't worth it and put her to bed with her crocs on. Hopefully this is not an every night occurrence, or it could be a little weird when she outgrows them and wants to continue to sleep with them. Have you ever heard of a child having shoes as an attachment object?

Last couple days...

Sorry about the underlining I can't figure out how to get rid of it... Brynn hasn't been feeling well these last few days, although it is hard to tell from some of these pics... Cute headband on.. She wouldn't leave it on very long.
After the tylenol kicked in we would have a little bit of energy.. to play with balloons

Here's a break in the Brynn pics for one of Daddy and Maisy. Maisy loves to attack Matt with kisses.

This is what we have had most of the last couple days (Friday and Saturday) a cuddly, crabby, sleepy lay around girl.. This is her watching the "fishies" aka The Little Mermaid.

After her nap today she stacked a bunch of nuks (5-7) in Maisy's dog bed and climbed in with her baby. Brynn has taken to carrying around not one or two nuks as we have been used to, but now as many as she can find. She brought three nuks and a duck to the doctor today. I have no idea where this new obsession started, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how long it lasts.

Going to the zoo, zoo, zoo! How about you, you, you?

These pictures were taken on our trip to the Minnesota Zoo. We decided to go to the zoo, before Brynn got her 18 month pictures taken (be sure to check out that blog!) Made for a long day, but I think it was enjoyed by all!

This is Brynn's way of getting ready, the frog may have "hopped" onto her head.

This grizzly was one of the first animals we saw....GRRR

Brynn was nice enough to say, "hi" and "bye" to all of the animals.

"Hi."

Close look at the Prarie Dogs.

Look at the new Africa Exhibit

We did not look at any schedules since we got in free, thanks to those nice people who gave us tickets, we just tried to see as much as possible. We literally walked in as the dolphins were doing there last tricks, maybe next time we can see the whole show!

Looks like Annie and Brynn were super-imposed into this picture, but I promise they were really there!

"Hi animal!"

We got to the butterfly house just before it closed. Be sure to look for a future blog called, "Butterflies" that will have more photos of the butterflies, but thought we would include this picture of Annie and Brynn.

This picture was taken on our way home. Brynn did great at the zoo and during her photos.

Cheese...

Ella.. Ella

I know I have a lot to catch up on... I am trying. Here is a video from today. Brynn decided it was way more fun to share her goldfish with the puppies instead of eating them. At one point I try to hide the camera from her... in the end you will see why. Her reaction to the camera these days is priceless..
